These results revealed a growing dissatisfaction within the market place and an increasing trend to sell privately. Throughout this survey we found that the high amounts of commissions charged by Real Estate Agents, for very little effort, was not justifiable. The average commission charged by Agents equates to approximately 3 months wages for the average Australian wage earner.
